Basic
Rules
1 / Your entry must be your own, original creation
Do not submit someone else's work or something you bought at Marshall's without altering in any way. We want to see your personal worst.
2 / Limit One Entry Per Category Per Person
Make lots of bad art, then choose your least favorite. We're interested in the worst of the worst, the cream of the crap. You are welcome to enter one piece per category (visual/performance).
3 / No blood, feces, excessive saliva, or other bodily fluids.
We don’t want to touch dog poop or anyone’s menstrual blood. Think of the children!
4 / No symbols of hate or indicating affiliation with hate groups.
The Bad Art Show will not accept works that are homophobic, transphobic, racist, misogynist, ableist, or otherwise bigoted in nature. Creating work that is intentionally offensive or “bad” for shock value is not in the spirit of the Bad Art Show and we will not display it.
5 / Must be 17 3/8 years of age to enter.
Judging yourself and stopping yourself from being creative is adult stuff and we don't want to cultivate that in the youth. Think of the children!
